Claire finally had her 12 mo. checkup, only 6 weeks late. She weighed in at 20.8lbs and i'm such a lame mom that I don't know how tall she was. I do know that she's in the 75th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. She just gets more and more fun every day (except when she's having a tantrum) But her personality is really starting to shine. She loves her Paci, and I dread the day we have to take it away. Although, as i'm finding with the boys, much easier to take a paci away than a finger (or two).

I've been busy making signs for an upcoming fair we are doing in July. I'm trying to do a few signs each week so I don't end up feeling rushed in the end. These are a few I did this week. The bottom one is an order someone placed. The most common orders I get are for signs with family names. The pictures isn't the best because of the flash, but you get the idea. (And I just realized there's a mess up on the big one...oops. I'll have to fix that) But it's been fun playing with fonts and colors! I'm open to suggestions for sayings, quotes, ideas?
I'm also happy to announce that I got out of Jury duty. I wasn't going to call the jury duty office because I had already deferred a year, and that was supposed to be the limit you could defer. So I just accepted my fate. But I was getting stressed thinking about how I was going to arrange everything. This summons was for a grand jury as opposed to a regular jury duty. I guess a grand jury is supposed to last 2 weeks. So I figured it was worth a try to call. The lady on the phone said since this was a grand jury summons it is different than a regular summons and my last deferrment doesn't apply to "grand jury" summons. I hope this is making some sense??? Anyway, I was able to defer for another year. So, one less thing to worry about....until next year.
I'm really looking forward to Mother's day this weekend. My Mom and I are spending the whole day together on Saturday and are going to do whatever we want! We are going to hit the farmer's market and then go to the Oregon gardens (80 acres of beautiful gardens). Then we are going out to eat in the evening with my sisters. I told Brent not to worry about a gift, because having the whole day to myself on Saturday will be a gift! I'll post pics later. Happy Mother's day everyone.

Claire is a cutie. I just checked in with a friends blog. They have a four month old "little" boy. He weighs 20lb 12oz! What a chunk, but he sure is cute.

I like your signs. I've been thinking of putting something up in a couple of places, I will have to keep those in mind.

Happy Mother's Day! Tell your mom and sisters I said hi. Give them a hug for me, I haven't seen them in forever.

O.k. Deena - now I'm feeling sad and jealous to not be there this weekend with you guys. :) It sounds like so much fun! Enjoy!
