I need some good book ideas. I just finished "a tree grows in Brooklyn" I really enjoyed it, and i'm headed to the library tommorrow. Usually I have some books in mind that i'd like to read, but i'm drawing a blank. Anyone read any great books lately that they can recommend??

I have a list of books I have read this year on my blog, if you're interested. I think my favorite book I read last year was "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom (spelling might be a little off). I also enjoyed "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett, although I will forewarn you that there are pages that you may want to skip and it is a very LONG book. I also really ended up loving "The Road" (by _____ McCarthy - can't remember his first name). That one took a bit to adjust to his writing style.

Oh, and "These Is My Words" by Nancy E. Turner in my opinion is a "must read".

I loved "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" (my cruise book). Also, "19 Minutes" was really thought-provoking, if a bit disturbing (about a high school shooting). I need a book list from YOU.
