Why are life decisions so hard to make? We are always asking ourselves "are we doing the right thing?" Well, we've decided to put our house on the market. I know, it's a terrible time to sell, I hear that from everyone! Brent would love to be closer to his family, but we have had no luck finding anything in the Spokane area. So we feel like maybe it's time to try and shorten his commute. Right now it takes anywhere from 45min to 1 1/2 hours to get to and from work (each way). We found some new construction in Forest grove that we love, but we have to sell our house first. So keep us in your prayers that we will be able to sell in this slow market. We were told the average time on the market is 6-8 months, we are trying to do it without an agent...so we'll see. We feel like Heavenly Father has a plan for us and we are trying our best to figure out what it is? All we can do is try to live right and hope it will all work out for the best.

Oh my, I had no idea you were considering a move closer to Portland. I feel out of the loop. You have a beautiful home and the next family will be lucky to enjoy it! Keep us posted!
Sara,
Your not out of the loop. This is the first we've announced it. We'll see what happens.

I don't know how anyone commuting is keeping up with the gas prices! I hope your selling goes well and you find something closer to Brent's work. It'll be so nice for you guys to have that time back in the day!
Good luck! Your home is beautiful and probably closer to Larry's work... I am almost tempted but have no desire to live in a town bigger then the one I grew up in...pretty sad I know! But if we were in the market we would totally jump on that! Good luck!
If it makes you feel any better, the Workman's in our ward sold their house in a day (according to the Dunmire's) It just takes the right person to come along. I have mixed feelings about all of this. It will be better for you, but I have loved my stops by on the way to or from the airport, etc. Love you, MOM
We'll be praying for your success. I hope the right family comes along soon. Shortening the commute would surely be great.

Good luck with the house sale and all. Forest Grove is a cool place.

Hey guys, I am excited for you, moving is always exciting but also kind of a huge pain in the rear! Let us know if you need help on some weekend packing boxes or whatever. I guess that might be a ways away, but keep us in mind.
And are we still babysitting for you this weekend? Let me know what your plans are!

I hope everything works out for you. Craig feels your pain. He is currently driving about 35 miles each way. Unfortunately, it takes him a about an hour and fifteen minutes to drive that 35 miles. We had looked into moving earlier in the year, and just couldn't bring ourselves to do it. If we move closer to his office, it's farther away from my store. But, you never know what the future will hold. I'm sure it will work out well. Life has a way of taking care of things! Good luck!
If/when you do move, let us know if you need any help. We have a HUGE pickup, and Craig has a strong back! =)
We are so sad about the thought of you leaving but would we be real friends if we didn't support you 100%. We love you guys and I know you'll make it work no matter what. You have a beautiful house so that's one obstacle out of the way. I hope it all goes well.
