It's finally over!
Well, our first craft fair has come and gone. Things started out pretty slow...We sold a few little things here and there, but I was really starting to wonder if we were going to break even? But luckily things really picked up. We had made three storage benches and three hutches. We sold all but one white bench and one white hutch. And when I checked my e-mail tonight, there was an e-mail from a girl who had been at the craft fair, who wanted to buy the white bench and hutch. How crazy is that! So we sold them all. We were very happy with the outcome! The hardest part of the event was having a booth right next to the "home baked goodies". Yum! I had to sit and smell chocolate, and cookies for hours and hours. Oh the temptation! I have to thank my sister "K" for making so many cute crafts and for manning the booth today. She made these super cute sticheries (Sp?). So for our first event, it went better than I had expected. We were approached by a lady who was looking for vendors for the Timber Carnival (big event they have in Albany every summer) I don't know if it's something we'll do, but it's something to think about. Right now i'm just ready to crawl into my bed and not make any crafts...at least for a few days!

So glad it ended up so successful!! I bet you need a nap. What a talented family you are!
Congratulations. I am so not crafty I can't even imagine making something that people would actually want to BUY with REAL money!
So far the windstorms here haven't been as bad as we were expecting. We still have power...cross your fingers. If I understood it right, we still have today/tonight to go before we're in the clear...
Congrats. Now that you are rich, you can take us all out to dinner. :)
Congrats. I'm glad it went well for you!
