Out of the mouth of babes
Today in my 5yr old sunday school class, a little boy said to me, "you have big lips, they look weird." I tried to explain to him in 5 year old language, that some ladies pay a lot of money to make their lips bigger. That big lips are beautiful." His reply...."they still look weird." 10 minutes later he told me my hair looked like snakes. Gotta love 5 year olds!

Well I happen to be a fan of big lips and I certainly LOVE your snakey hair!
That is so funny!!! Especially the part when he goes home and tells his mom that he learned about ladies who pay lots of money to get their lips big and pretty. That's great!

I believe it was a five-year-old who, the day after I gave birth to Jane, looked at my tummy and said, "Well, it looks like you're going to have ANOTHER baby." Punk. Your lips and hair are NOT weird/snake-like.
Now I have to know who said that??? That is really funny. I miss that class. My six year old told me I am not a fun Mom. I laughed and told her she was right.
That is so funny, Deena! You have beautiful lips and I have ALWAYS been envious of your amazing hair. That reminds me of a scar I have on my forehead from the chicken pox. I really never thought anything of it. Most of my life my bangs covered it up. But since I've had longer bangs the last few years, there have been several young kids that have asked me why I had a hole in my head?
What a charmer! I'm sure that will all come in real handy to him later in life when he is trying to find himself a wife! Won't she be pleased? =)
