Great experience.

The other night I was talking with my mom on the phone and I mentioned how healthy the family has been this winter. Claire and I both had a cold over Christmas break, but other than that we have had no throwing up or even runny noses. So what do you know, one hour later Cole wakes up in his bed, crying really hard. He was pretty hysterical and just cried and cried. He kept putting his hand over his mouth. He said his mouth hurt. This went on for about 30 minutes with him crying very loudly and brent and I trying to do anything we could to calm him down. Finally I asked Cole if he wanted Daddy to give him a blessing. He said yes..So Brent gave him a blessing. As soon as Brent started talking, Cole got quiet and closed his eyes. When Brent was done with the blessing I took Cole into his room and laid him down..He was asleep within 30 seconds. He slept all night and woke up happy. He said his mouth didn't hurt anymore. He never showed another sign of being sick. It was pretty amazing. The priesthood is so powerful. It was definately a testimony strengthening experience.
